Dating Test - Do You Have a Positive Outlook?

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

By CD Mohatta Whether we succeed or fail in dating, positive outlook always helps. Let us look at this in detail and find out if you have positive outlook in dating? Does it help if we always think of negative results? Does that improve our probability of success? I agree that you may not be a real choice date, but does that thought help? And let me ask you - who is a choice date? Can you find out one person who does not have faults? Or who is perfect? No, all of us something imperfect and that is why we are all human beings. Many people carry inferiority complex from their childhood. It is not surprising to find children making fun of a child whose nose might be too big or small or something else. Sometimes, our parents give us these complexes by telling us how we are not good at something, repeatedly. We grow up with such complexes and that damages our self-respect. We carry forward such ideas in any activity we take up when we grow. If we were called sloppy in our childhood, we are conscious of that while we are employed and worried that our boss should not notice our sloppiness. The facts may be contrary. We may not be sloppy at all, but the childhood memory remains with us. Are you carrying any such ideas in dating? Please drop them. Keep a positive outlook. Fell good about yourself. You are good, whatever others may say and you deserve somebody equally good. Go forward in a positive frame of mind and project confidence. As I said before all of us have something wrong with us and you are no different. Better would be focus on your positive qualities and change your outlook to positive. Avoiding Conflict in Your Marriage is a No-No

Monday, November 26th, 2007

By Michael Russell The number one problem in marriages seems to be avoidance of conflict. Whether it is not wanting to discuss who takes out the trash or who takes Susie and Johnny to their soccer games, conflict is not something we look forward to. It just seems easier either to ignore the problems or just accept them, than trying to work out your differences. People dislike conflict and that’s a fact. Unfortunately, if the things that are bothering you never come out in the open, then they tend to build up inside you and sometimes it’s too late to do anything about them. You have already fallen into the habit of acceptance, and your significant other expects that that is the way you are going to react so they continue doing what they have always done. Marriage is about compromise. This is so important if you want to have a happy, successful marriage. Even though at times, you want your way, you have to be able to give in once in a while. It’s only fair if you both get your way some of the time, and not one person always getting everything how they want it. It is also important to realize that people will change as time goes on. No one really stays the same year after year. When we are in a marriage we need to grow with the other person, even though at times it is tough. We don’t have to accept negative, hurtful behavior by accepting change, but rather, accepting the small differences that arise between people in their everyday lives. Trust is another big issue in a marriage. With everything that is going on today, it is really hard to trust someone else. We need to show trust until we prove that the other person is not trustworthy. It is also important to show that both people trust each other enough to know that their relationship and working out a solution to whatever the problem is, is important to them. Honesty also plays a big role in any marriage. If you want someone to trust you, you need to tell the truth. Once you become known for outrageous stories and telling lies, it is really hard to become credible in someone’s eyes again. It’s like the story of the boy who cried wolf. When you really need that person to be there for you, they don’t come running, because they have been deceived one too many times. When a conflict arises between you and your partner, try to refrain from using the silent treatment. If you really are heated, it may be best to take a short walk and cool off, and then resume the discussion when you are a bit calmer. Give the other person time to cool off, as well. Try to refrain from bringing up the past. There’s nothing worse than to hear over and over again about the past mistakes you’ve made. Keep the argument focused on the current issue. That’s what caused the problem in the first place so it needs to be resolved. Before the confrontation, have some solutions handy that you would like to present to work the problem out. This shows you have given some thought to the issue and are prepared to take steps to fix the problem. Actions that are decided upon must be taken by both for it to work out. Don’t expect just one person to make the change. You have to be willing to commit to the resolution yourself. Basically, it comes down to not holding everything in to the point of no return. While very few people enjoy conflict, it becomes necessary at times, and can help save your marriage if done in a thoughtful manner. Seeing Visions And Meeting Saints From Heaven On Earth

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Matthew Robert Payne Its a subject that causes much debate, yet even Jesus met Moses and Elijah on earth and so in scripture we have an example of people from heaven coming to earth. I guess if this title interests you, you will read, if it doesnt you wont. Enjoy! It all started about six years ago when Jesus asked me to request something off him. I requested that I be given dreams and visions and was inspired though of the verse in Joel that mentioned the end times where people would dream dreams, people would see visions and people would prophesy. Acts 2:17-18 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. It seems that many people in churches around the world seem to think prophecy stopped with the last apostles dying. I am not sure how the whole church feels about visions and dreams and yet in Acts Peter felt led to quote this scripture. Six years ago Jesus asked me what I wanted and I asked him for dreams and visions. Since then I have had a number of prophetic dreams that have given me hope for my future and God has opened my spiritual eyes and I have met Jesus many times on earth and been to heaven five times and seen many things. In the past year God has been bringing saints to earth with Jesus to meet me. I have met Elijah, Daniel, John the apostle, Sadhu Sundar Singh a famous Indian apostle, Mary Jesus mother and Mary Magdalene among others. The saint I have met most and conversed with most has been Mary Magdalene and she has been a great comfort.. Many people assume that these saints are not alive. Jesus answered this in His day. Matthew 22:31-32 31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. I have been very blessed to see Mary dance on four occasions at my church as we worship God. I have also been blessed to be able to facilitate helping people have faith to open their spiritual eyes to also see the same vision I was seeing. I am a fortunate man to have been to heaven and met some of the saints. I have twice had communion in heaven with the 12 apostles and sat with them as they broke bread. This was very special to me. God is such a wonderful God to allow this sort of thing to happen to one of his saints. I encourage you to seek God for visions and dreams and seek God for the gift of prophecy. All of them are promised to us believers in out day, its a New Testament promise and we can all lay hold of it. Many people dont think they are worthy of such visitations. I think that is baloney. I was one of the worlds worst sinners and remain not that saintly. Be blessed. Little Known Secret About Why People Aren’t Losing Weight

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Heidi Johnson Ever been around someone who did everything right when It came to healthy eating and exercise yet still didnt lose weight? I was one of those. I ate well. All my friends thought I was a health food nut. I exercised and was very active. I have 4 children that I chased after each day and didnt sit down much. Yet I couldnt lose weight, or worse yet, the pouch that I carried around at my waist was still there. Then you have people (like your spouse) telling you that youre just eating too much. Now THATS helpful! There were lots of other people out there that I saw who ate like birds and exercised religiously, but didnt lose weight. Or they would lose 30-40 pounds and look worn out, saggy and tired only to gain it back and then some. Why do people hold on to weight and why do those that lose end up not being able to keep it off? Well, the culprit is fat. We all know that, but do we know the scientific reason why fat stays? Ill try to explain it as simply as I can. We all know that toxins are all around us. They show up in our air, water and food. One hundred years ago cancer wasnt even and issue that doctors dealt with. Pesticides werent used on crops and factories werent prevalent. Food came from your own land and you didnt mix chemicals together and call them food like we do now. When toxins come into our bodies they attach themselves to our organs. Fat collects around the toxins to protect the organs. Fat cells wont leave the body unless the toxins do because the fat cells are doing their job. Thats why most people carry their weight around their midsection because thats where the fat cells, organs and toxins are. So the key, before you start any health or exercise plan is to get the toxins out of your body so that the fat cells will leave too. Then you can really see some results in your eating and exercise plan. Why Diets Fail

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By Kat Lively Maybe it happened to you. You were overweight and watching television at one in the morning, feeling down about yourself. You knew you had to make a change for the better, and fast. Then on the screen appeared an infomercial touting the latest diet craze. Guaranteed, you could lose up to ten pounds a week, maybe more! All you had to do was either take this supplement twice daily, or drink a certain shake in place of breakfast. Maybe you had to forgo food altogether for 48 hours and just drink a specially formulated juice cocktail designed to cleanse your colon. Whatever it was, it looked good to you. The screen was filled with before and after pictures of people who tried the diet and were happier, thinner, and healthier. So you called the toll-free number, bought the product, followed the instructions and…nothing. What went wrong? Why did the diet fail? Why was the only thing lost money from your bank account? Each year thousands of people begin a diet program with the intent of seeing it through to success. Oftentimes, people do lose the weight and keep it off, but sadly a great number of people become frustrated and quit early in their programs. Discouragement leads to depression, which in some cases leads to a backlash in eating habits…and more weight gain. What causes these diets to fail? Why is it so difficult to follow a diet plan and lose the weight? Why is it, even when the plan is followed to the letter, nothing happens? Frustration - In the world of the quick fix, if you don’t see immediate results you assume it’s not working. Dieting is not a quick fix, losing weight takes time! Starvation - The body needs food to survive. Diet plans that begin with an initial period of food restrictions can prove difficult for some people to handle, causing them to “fall off the wagon” and binge on the same snacks the body craves. Nausea - You took a pill, it made you sick. You stopped the taking the pill. You just spent $100 for nothing. Did you follow all instructions when taking the supplements? You’d be surprised to know how many people don’t! Time - Your plans calls for home-cooked meals and time set aside for exercise. But between work, kids, recitals, etc. there isn’t time. You become distracted, the plan ends, and you’re back to square one.Failure often leads to depression, which triggers hormones in the body that cause you to eat, even when you’re not hungry. What started out as a plan to improve your life only tailspinned into further damage to your body and self-esteem. It doesn’t have to be this way! You can follow a program to success! One important thing to remember when researching diet programs is that not every plan tailored to the public as a whole will work for everybody the same way. When you go to a department store to buy a new shirt, you notice how the racks aren’t stocked with identical shirts, right? You will see shirts of different colors and sizes; some shirts will have long sleeves, some short. Some shirts will have pockets, and others will have buttons. Every shirt is designed for the same purpose - to cover you up - yet accomplishes this goal in a different way. Diet plans work on a similar plane. A person allergic to grapefruit wouldn’t go on the grapefruit diet, right? Consequently, a person suffering from celiac disease shouldn’t follow a program that prescribes wheat products. For a diet program to work, you need to know what regimen works best for your body and lifestyle. Read up on all programs before making a sound decision. Set aside time to do what is necessary, but don’t feel frustrated if you skip a day in your regimen - start over again! Above all, never feel frustrated about having invested time researching weight loss options. Everything is a learning experience, and as time passes and you learn more about how your body works, you will find the answers you need. Mosquito Magnets

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

By Marcus Peterson Apart from mosquito nets, there is another piece of equipment that can be used to effectively repel mosquitoes. The mosquito magnet, a tool that typically occupies more than an acre, uses a scent that attracts mosquitoes. Once mosquitoes get near the piece of equipment, it zaps and dehydrates them. The amazing thing about mosquito magnets is that they do not use insecticides. What they merely do is to produce a simulated gush of air that lures mosquitoes to come near it. The process is done in a quiet manner, without the regular popping and zapping sounds that regular electric mosquito repellants do. Because of its capability to keep a large piece of land mosquito-free, the piece of equipment is being seen as an effective way to prevent malaria. Today, a biophysics company is planning to integrate mosquito magnets with a wireless network. The idea is to electronically control a network of mosquito magnets to protect even larger areas from mosquitoes. Public and private sectors are being seen as primary users of the product. Some examples of the places where the product can be used are golf courses, educational institutions, and beach resorts. However, a current disadvantage of mosquito magnets is that they use propane, an ozone-depleting substance. The harmful element is used to produce the scent that attracts mosquitoes. Propane generates carbon dioxide, an element that is used by mosquitoes as a signal that food is nearby. Scientists are arguing that, while the device may pose an environmental risk, the benefits are still better and more considerable. In addition, there are also on-going studies to replace propane with biofuel. Biofuel is capable of producing carbon neutral substances. This idea is an attractive alternative for propane tanks that are being used by commercial mosquito magnets. Mosquito magnets are indeed useful to safeguard people against harmful mosquito bites. However, they are not to be treated as a replacement for mosquito nets. Mosquito nets are still useful in households where the involved area is relatively small. Magnets provides detailed information on Magnets, Mosquito Magnets, Car Magnets, Refrigerator Magnets and more. Magnets is affiliated with Custom Printed Lanyards. (International) Marketing = Magic Formula?

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

By Georg Michael Richter One of the most attractive regions of the world surely is Europe with its 480+ million inhabitants, especially also Germany with its 80+ million thereof. Insofar it is the ‘world market’ pure and simple (due to market sizes, buying volume, number of inhabitants, etc.). And it becomes for very many entrepreneurs more and more essential (= their survival) to get into/stay in foreign markets but, of course, very thoughtful. Concentrating on the home markets only will restrict especially SMEs to their limited market places back home. Even if these are huge markets like e. G: USA. Nowadays the sharp price competition needs companies/owners who strive to be ahead of their respective markets segments not necessarily with regard to pricing but surely with regard to competitive advantages/customer benefits. (The marketing guru Prof. Kotler even argues a bit tougher: We should get out of markets where we cant be the first .) If we do not concentrate on the clients needs and sell our fingerprint (plus whatever such clients ask for !) which is always different even from the toughest competition, as well companies from Europe as from other parts of the world (especially SMEs - who still stand for the majority of a countries GDP) would only have a shadowy existence, which - due to their number of inventions and technical solutions - would not be justified. On the contrary they should open themselves for new foreign markets and/or find foreign collaborators in order to broaden their market existence/shares. Hereafter I touch therefore only four aspects - which in no case, however, cover the whole field of marketing of a specific company - which can give the entrepreneurs some idea though how to ‘better place the enterprise’ in the markets and by this initiate a better present and long-lasting ’starting position’. We are on a ‘buyers’ market’, where it is important to have a detailed view and perspective for the own enterprise and the products produced - especially as the recession seems to be over soon and the economical development is seen ‘quite bright’ by the various institutions. So, what can be done by an individual company - now ? I. Analysis In my eyes that is the necessary starting position in general. It has to be found out how the enterprise - with its present products - is accepted in the market place, where it is less successful than the competition, where the positive points are to be found (price, delivery - logistics timing -, quality, service, etc.) or simply:”How the company for the time being is represented to its clientele and how it is valued” Parameters for this situation are the own selling results, the profit-situation for all products, the total production/import/export statistics of such products in the area looked at, the buying structure, the advertisements/sales promotion done, etc. Such an analysis should - normally - be executed by somebody not belonging to the company as then procedures followed so far are questioned, which may be existing without real reasons and/or new selling ideas can be elaborated/ added which are available due to the experience from other industrial fields - and being a consultant even from other companies where similar proposals reached good results. II. Targeting The analysis has to be followed by a segmentation of the markets which are supplied by the company. This segmentation has to lead to the question whether the company already supplies its clients on the best possible ways in order to really reach all segments in a way as accepted by the respective clientele and in the best possible manner, avoiding any unnecessary frictions. Possible catchwords are - core abilities - Due to the multitude of different suppliers who all deal with various technological solutions but with just one problem (e. g. the IT-market, the automotive industrys, etc.) it is extremely important that a company finds/defines its ‘core abilities’ (the fingerprint as said above) which are available - in this combination - only with them and that it concentrates on it and ‘markets’/cares for them. Only in this case a kind of ’sole selling position’ can be developed which in-turn leads to a sharper profile in the ‘market places’. Now, many people may say that this is not relevant/true for them, but my experience says that it is - in many cases - just a matter of creative justification and formulation to reach such a target of ’sole position’. - research - of the total quantity of prospective clients per segment/market locally and/or foreign, in order to define implement the strategic/ operational targets and control mechanisms in order to verify the results compared to the targets - sales routes multiplication - i. e. that we have to find out if and when it may be advisable to sell our products (perhaps slightly changed in form/colour/packing and/or execution) to the different market segments following different sales routes III. Definition/implementation - of procedures for the various market segments with a view to the various foreign markets/representatives/distributors, etc. The results of these examinations has to be part of the overall ‘company planning procedure’ like the financial aspects, the sales organisation (> marketing plan) and all relevant costing procedures. Especially the last aspect is one of the most important, as the costing procedure (starting with the optimal purchasing (even world-wide depending on the use of raw-/ready materials), the logistics needed, the suitable way of production (not to mention ‘lean-procedures>, the quality aspects, stock-keeping with the distributors, customer service, advertisement/sales promotion, etc.) will still be the finally deciding point for the pricing and this - provided all the rest is the same for different suppliers - will be decisive for the buying decision of our clients. Advertising/public relation has to include nowadays an INTERNET-presence. That means, however, not only to have a site in the NET but also to publish it with relevant associations, client groups, etc., i. e. to market it as a conventional means also but, if we want to be really successful it has first and foremost - to be made-up in a way to lead the searcher directly to HIS solution/the solution to HIS problem, i. e. following also strictly marketing procedures as necessary for the respective product/market segment. IV. Control and correction This step belongs to the ones mentioned before like the baby to its mother as only if it is controlled if/how the targets have been reached a correction will be possible and only then we will ‘answer the markets’ to our best. This refers to the sales routes as well as to the ‘market presentation’ via representatives, advertisements, fairs/exhibitions, pricing, customer service, etc. And it is as well understandable as logic that these parameters differ from market segment to market segment, from country to country, and I can say form my practical experience that in most cases the results from a deviation of the targets in one market/market segment not only have a real influence on the internal decisions (referring to production, organisation, finance, etc. ) but also gives perfect hints in order to correct and define new marketing ways for the rest of the segments/ markets, which again leads to an increase of sales and a more positive view of the future. As stated in the very beginning it is not the aim of this article to present final solutions for everybody. This is absolutely impossible as one company differs from the other nearly totally (even when producing the same final product) and only the detailed individual study gives answers to this - which then again leads to a more positive development of the enterprise. However, the steps mentioned before - perhaps partly adjusted by further steps, like out- sourcing of different internal procedures, targeted customer service like key-accounting, special service offers to a few good customers/ products, etc. - can be used in general by all companies and as such lead to an increase of turnover and/or profit. Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

By Todd Going Mesothelioma is a devastating form of cancer, but also rather uncommon. This disease stems from the inhalation or ingestion of asbestos particles. Affected areas include the lungs, the gastrointestinal tract and the heart. The most common form of mesothelioma is pleural mesothelioma. The second most common form of mesothelioma is peritoneal mesothelioma which destroys the stomach & intestines. Laws of Marketing - The 10 Immutable

Monday, November 19th, 2007

By Gordon Goh Most marketers believe that anything is achievable if you are energetic, creative or determined enough. But laws of marketing follow laws of business, and if you violate them, you risk your marketing dollars. The conventional answer to all marketing questions is money, which is not true. 1. Law of Leadership its better to be the first than it is to be better. People tend to stick with what theyve got e.g. girlfriend and spouse. 2. Law of Category if you cant be first in a category, set up a new category you can be first in. Prospects are defensive when it comes to brands but they have open minds when it comes to categories because everyone is interested in whats new and not whats better. 3. Law of Mind its better to be the first in the mind than to be the first in the marketplace. Being first in the marketplace is important only to the extend that it allows you to get in the mind first. Once a mind is made up, it rarely changes. If you want to make a big impression on another person, you have to blast your way into the mind. 4. Law of Perception marketing is not a battle of products but a battle of perceptions. All truth is relative. The only reality you can sure about is in your own perceptions. If the universe exists, it exists inside your own mind and the minds of others. Marketing is a manipulation of perceptions. What makes the marketing battle more difficult is that buying decisions are based on second-hand perceptions the everybody knows principle. 5. Law of Focus the most powerful concept in marketing is owning a word in the prospects mind. You burn your way into the mind by narrowing the focus to a single word or concept the ultimate marketing sacrifice. Eg IBM is computers. 6. Law of Opposite if youre shooting for second place, your strategy is determined by the leader. If you want to establish a firm foothold on the second rung of the ladder, study the firm above you how do you turn their strength into a weakness? Eg Pepsi turned Cokes century old product into choice of a new generation. Always present yourself as the alternative and dont be timid attack the number 1. 7. Law of Division overtime, a category will divide and become 2 or more categories. Each segment has its own leader use different brand names for different segments. What keeps leaders from launching a different brand to cover a new category is the fear of what will happen to their existing brands. 8. Law of Perspective marketing effects takes place over an extended period of time. The long-term effects are often the exact opposite of the short-term effects. Having a sale decreases business in the long term by educating customers not to buy at regular prices. The same goes for line extension they increase sales in the short term but decreases sales in the long term. Less is more narrow the focus in order to build a position in the prospects mind. 9. Law of Candor when you admit a negative, the prospect will give you a positive. This is because no proof is needed for a negative statement. First admit a negative and then twist it into a positive. 10. Law of Hype the situation is often the opposite of the way it appears in the press. History is filled with marketing failure that was successful in the press or advertisements. Whether you’re new or experienced in business, looking to increase your sales or just want to fight the recession, Effective and Profitable Marketing is the way to grow your business. In summary, these laws are very useful and practical. I myself practiced laws 5 and 8 and derived good results from there. That’s why I want to share them with you. Free Ringtones In Canada

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Thomas_Morva]Thomas Morva With the advent of mobile phones, communication has entered into a new age. With the improvement in quality and addition of new features, ringtones have become very popular among mobile users. But ringtones vary from place-to-place and also according to the age group of the users. In Canada, with the advent of high-speed Internet connections, cell phone users can download ringtones from all across the world. Today, there are many different types of ringtones available. These include polyphonic as well as monophonic ringtones. The ringtones that comprise of single tones are called Monophonic ringtones. Polyphonic ringtones are most popular since they are made up or are comprised of many tones, thus producing a more full sound. But of the various types of ringtones downloaded by mobile users, pop songs are the most preferred. Seasonal ringtones are making inroads in popularity, as are ringtones aimed specifically at kids. As the number of mobile users increases, the ringtones and caller tones vary from state to state and also with the ethnicity. With a large Asian population in certain parts of Canada, ethnic ringtones have their share of the market as well. Also with the eastern shore being more French, customers there demand different sets of ringtone trends. Many Canadian sports entertainment fans enjoy using WWE wrestling theme songs as their ringtones, as well. No matter what the choice of the user is, as the new wave of MP3 downloads have increased, more and more international tones are making their way on to Canadian mobile phones, and the users are enjoying more ringtone choices than ever before!
